In 2009, the Providence Public Library (a private organization) threatened to close down its neighborhood branches. Community members banded together to form a new nonprofit to independently manage and sustain those branches.  In this short film, Providence Community Library patrons and volunteers share their experiences concerning the value of the libraries in their lives.
